Discovery Homecoming/Beth-El Shoe Sunday August 26, 2018 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Come and visit the Christian Education Building for informatin about the many educational activities and education programs for all ages that are available as well as information about the many opportunuties to serve here at Northwood. There will be games and crafts available for children in the Family Life Center and a continenatl breakfast will be availble! Mark your calendar now for a fun-filled time of discovery for everyone.
As part of Discovery Homecoming Sunday, Northwood is inviting everyone to participate in Beth-El Shoe Sunday by bringing new or gently used tennis shoes, sandals/flip flops, and men’s work boots for the children, youth and adults of the Beth-El Farm Workers Mission in Wimauma, FL. Beth-El has requested specific sizes needed. Men’s sizes 6-11, women's sizes 5-7 1/2, and all sizes for children. There are tubs located in the hallway to drop off your shoes. These shoes will be extremely helpful and appreciated as the kids and youth get ready to go back to school and for the farm workers as they prepare to continue their work in the fields this fall. Last time we collected over 400 pairs of shoes! Thank you in advance for participating in Beth-El Shoe Sunday and sharing the love of Jesus Christ!
